From this publication, I have prepared two lists of WWII Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard dead with next of kin living in 19 Southwest Iowa counties.

The alphabetical records within this summary include the decedent's name, rank, and service branch, followed by the next of kin's name and mailing address, but omits service numbers and lacks information such as death date or ship.

The summary excludes stateside deaths and in-theater non-combat-related deaths. See WWII Dead > Roster Outliers > Navy Dept. Omissions for a list of such individuals who are in the Pottawattamie Area WWII Dead Roster.)
