Kirsten Pedersen's two youngest daughters immigrated with her in 1861. In Utah they both married. Around 1880 the two families moved to Blaine County in central Idaho where they became pioneer settlers.
One of the daughters, Johanne Cathrine, married John Lauk Timerman. It was in the Timerman household that Kirsten spent the last years of her life.

The Timerman family story is not very cheerful. Johanne Cathrine give birth to five children, two of whom died in infancy. A son died as a teenager and the younger son died in World War I. The Timerman's daughter was married twice but had no children. Although the Timerman family has no living descendants, their name, sometimes spelled Timmerman, lives on in several place names in Blaine County, Idaho. |
