- Beebeetown - In La Grange Township, Harrison County just over the northern Boomer Township border. Founded in the 1870s by the Beebee family from New York State.
- Crescent - In Crescent Township; area settled originally by Mormons in the late 1840s; Crescent City platted along Little Pigeon Creek, now Crescent Creek, in 1850s; Bypassed by Northwestern Railroad 1 1/2 miles to west in 1867 but survived because its location above the Missouri River floodplain.
- Honey Creek - Railroad town in Rockford Township established during Northwestern Railroad construction in 1867.
- Neola - Railroad town in Neola Township established during Rock Island Railroad constrction in 1869.
- Loveland - Railroad town in Rockford Township established during Northwestern Railroad construction in 1867.
- Persia - Railroad town in Harrison County established during Milwaukee Railroad construction around 1882.
- Underwood - Railroad town in Norfolk Township established during Milwaukee Railroad construction around 1882.
- Weston - Railroad town in Hazel Dell Township established during Rock Island Railroad construction in 1869.
