Brief Site History:
- In 2015, I developed the initial version of this site, accessed from kirstenpedersen.weebly.com, to gain experience with website construction and to explore the capabilities of the Weebly website builder.
- Subsequently, I designed and wrote the Danish American Heritage Society's website, danishheritage.org, also using Weebly. (In April 2017 I turned danishheritage.org over to Jennifer Tørgensen of the University of Nebraska.)
- In 2016, I began repurposing this site to serve as a repository for my historical work of the past twenty years.
- In May 2017, I provided site access through the domain bigpigeon.us and reorganized site content.
Caveats:
- If you visited this website earlier, you may have recalled it as Kirsten Pedersen's Relatives or Maggie Larson's World. As of 20 May '17, it is Big Pigeon.
- I write using Microsoft Word. Until recently my writings were devoid of photographs. Thus most of what I have written is not very inviting to view. In late 2018 I hope to begin adding some of the old family, neighborhood and church photos in my possession.
