==> Part 2 - More Christiansen History Information.

This is the access page for Volume 1, the Christiansen Family, of Robert Christiansen’s Family History - Christiansen, Rasmussen, Larsen & Hansen.

My Christiansen great-grandparents, Christian Christiansen and Ane Kirstine Jensen, were both born and raised in the Stevns peninsula area south of Copenhagen.  Christian Christiansen had a son, Christen Ole, from a first marriage.  Christian’s first wife presumably died and Christian then married Ane Kiristine Jensen.  Christian, Ane Kirstine, Christen Ole, and their older child, Jens, emigrated in 1869.  The Christiansen family settled in Boomer Township, Pottawattamie County, Iowa, where their second son, Nels, was born.
