Braden Family Notes: Grant Braden was a second cousin of brothers Clyde and William Braden, whose father, Frank Braden, ran a road construction company. The Frank Braden family moved to Red Oak in the early 1930s, lived in Chariton, Lucas Co. in 1940, and moved to Hastings, NE in late 1942. In the Hastings area, the Braden company helped construct the WW II Hastings Naval Ammunition Depot. After WW II, the remainder of the Frank Braden family returned to the Red Oak area.
