Future Roster Plans
22 March 2024:
Submodule WWII Japan > South & SW Pacific (#6 in WWII Japan) is overly complex and long and has two complementary Order of Battle webpages. Here are two alternatives:
#6 - South & SW Pacific (overview using first part of old South & SW Pacific followed by parallel subpages):
Securing Australia (19 chars, most text comes from old South & SW Pacific)
Solomon Islands, Guadalcanal
Solomons Naval War, Part 1 (from existing webpage)
Southeast New Guinea, Papua
Isolating Rabaul (16 chars, ditto)
New Georgia, ...
Bougainville, ---
Solomons Naval War, Part 2 (from existing webpage)
Northeast New Guinea, ...
Bismarck Archipelago
Nearing the Philippines (23 chars)
West New Guinea
Palau Islands (move from Central Pacific)
Keep existing OOB - South Pacific & OOB - SW Pacific webpages but change the interior OOB-Combat links.
23 Dec 2023: Planned expansion from 24 to 30 the Roster Records webpages: (would have 36 as max. count)

split K (39) into Kai (20) & Kjz (19)
M names from Ma-Mm (53) & Mn-Mz (18) to Ma-Mb (16), Mc-Me (28), Mf-Mz (27)
split P (38) into Pa-Pe (20) & Pf-Pz (18)
S names from Sa-Sm (36) & Sn-Sz (41) to Sa-Sh (26), Si-Sp (23), Sq-Sz (28)
split TUV (36) into T (25) & UV (11)

14 Feb 2023: The WWII-related modules need attention thusly:
Submodule WWII Japan > South & SW Pacific (#6 in WWII Japan) is overly complex and long and has two complementary Order of Battle webpages. Here are two alternatives:
- Break up by purpose and date into Securing Australia (#6, 2 webpages), Isolating Rabaul (#7, 3 webpages), and Approaching the Philippines (#8, 2 webpages). Move Solomons Naval War to be a subpage of Naval War with Japan. But where to put Bismarck Archipelago, which fits into both #7 and #8?
- Break up by command structure and geography into South Pacific (#6, 4 webpages) and Southwest Pacific (#7, 4 webpages). Place Solomons Naval War as the final webpage in South Pacific.

14 Feb 2023: The WWII-related modules need attention thusly:
- Use the fatalities lists at the end of WWII Japan & WWII Germany webpages to update individual roster records.
- Clean up residences webpages for Harrison, Mills and Shelby counties.
- Finish ETO webpages, or at least leave in a graceful form.
- Delete superfluous ETO webpages.
- Join Linder and Sunberg databases.
- as of 23 Dec, briefly proof roster from Q onwards.
- Hazard, Harry Edward (Cass Co., already present, check unit info)
- Reconcile text for Solomon Sea War victim
